On this day, 22nd August, 4 years ago 2007, 11 year old Rhys Jones was gunned down in the car park of the Fir Tree pub in Croxteth. Rhys wasn't in the wrong place at the wrong time, he simply wasn't in the wrong place at all. He was at perfect liberty to be walking through a car park at that time, he did nothing whatsoever wrong, just walking home from football practice.
